    Dror et al 2022 patients with vitamin D deficiency (< 50 nmol/L) were 14 times more likely to have severe or critical disease than patients with serum content ≥100 nmol/L.
    Castillo et al 2020 Those supplemented with calcifediol had a 93% reduction in the odds of ICU admission.
    Nogues et al 2021 Those supplemented with calcifediol had 87% less need for ICU submission and a greater than 70 % reduction in mortality.
    Papadimitriou et al 2023 demonstrated 100 % effectiveness in preventing Type 1 Diabetes in predisposed, yet healthy children with vitamin D supplementation. A serum concentration of 100 to 150 nmol/L demonstrated effective immunoregulation with timely and optimal vitamin D dosing.
